Granny 3 – Haze Game Review

Granny 3: Haze continues the tale of inspector Granny Diggles and her family. Now, she’s taken over her niece’s newly-minted farm. Unfortunately, the farm is infested with zombies, meaning Granny needs to get as far away from them as possible. The only way to do this is through a series of quests, each harder than the last one. However, there’s also a huge amount of hidden items scattered about the environment, which makes the quest more fun than it needs to be.

If you enjoyed playing Granny 3: Haze, you’ll definitely love playing Granny 3: Haze Part II. The gameplay is basically the same as the first game, except you’re now dealing with zombies. The objective is still the same, though. You simply must escape from your captor, who is after your baby. The new addition to the gameplay is hidden objects, which are often used as guides or secrets for the player. The puzzles themselves are a bit more difficult than the usual brain teasers and require some strategic thinking on the player’s part.

To play 3: Haze, you must simply put the mouse on Granny’s face and move the cursor in between her eyes. Continue doing this until you reach the end of the line and the screen shakes, signaling you to pick up something. If you get caught by the monster, Granny is temporarily unconscious and cannot move much. Continue picking up the items and moving the cursor while thinking of a way out of the situation. There are several secret items in the game, too, and these can help you to continue playing without having to replay the entire game. Once you’ve picked up all the required items, the game will warn you about an impending zombie attack and you’ll have to find a way to protect yourself before it’s too late.

Fortunately, Granny 3 has been created as an addictive game that many people find enjoyable. It’s not easy to become bored in a game as entertaining as Granny 3, so you should definitely spend some time trying to figure out how to escape the house while avoiding the hungry zombies that roam the premises. Like the majority of the entries in the Granny series, this game can be played in single-player mode, where you’ll be directed through the steps necessary to escape while avoiding Granny’s wrath. In the enhanced version of the game, you’ll be taken through the whole house while avoiding the angry mob in order to figure out the layout of the rest of the farm.

If you enjoy playing word games, you’ll probably enjoy Granny 3: Haze, because it includes lots of word games that are geared towards learning and improving your spelling skills. Throughout the course of the game, you’ll have to spell words correctly in order to advance to the next level. For example, if you want to get to the barn, you just look for “grass”, “wood”, and “horse”. When you’re done, you need to write the correct term on the haystack. There are also funny word games that will make you laugh, such as those that ask you to guess what foods are inside the barn. It’s possible that Granny 3: Haze might be a small step up from other word games, but you should definitely invest in the enhanced version just to see if the advanced features are worth the extra investment.

Granny’s Manor is another fun time-management game where you’ll have to escape from a variety of mazes and situations. If you have a good eye for color, you’ll likely find yourself making quick work of this game as you avoid obstacles and stay ahead of the locals. The controls for the various levels are fairly simple, though it is possible to die if you’re not careful, which may force you to replay the stage from scratch. Most of the time, though, you’ll find yourself making progress through each level, and you may even find that the longer you play the more advanced things become.

Granny 3: Haze gives you a handy checklist of items you’ll need on each level, so you know exactly what needs to be done when you reach that point in the game. This makes finishing the game a much faster process, especially if you have an idea of how each level is laid out and what items are necessary to complete it. This helps you avoid needless running back and forth between levels to gather or replace something that was lost when you escaped the previous level.

Unfortunately, Granny 3: Haze isn’t quite as exciting as its older predecessors. For one, there aren’t nearly as many surprises waiting for you to discover as there were in the old days. Granny’s Manor offers some interesting puzzles, but they are far from being mind-blowing. Still, if you are looking for a simple time management game that doesn’t require any artistic skills, you should find it to your liking.
